About this role
We are seeking an experienced Car Wash Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, staff, customer service, equipment maintenance, stock control, and financial performance. The successful candidate will ensure high service standards, operational efficiency, health and safety compliance, and achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily car wash operations and staff scheduling.
- Ensure efficient workflow, quality service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve sales and revenue targets while controlling costs and stock usage.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and manage employee performance.
- Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Monitor stock levels, consumables, and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Prepare operational, sales, and performance reports.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ management experience.
- Strong leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Good financial, operational, and computer literacy.
- Experience in a car wash environment will be advantageous.
- Relevant qualification in Operations, Business, or Retail Management is beneficial.
Working Conditions
- Outdoor, fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to water, chemicals, and vehicle fumes.
- Weekend and public holiday work required.
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
